did not prepare her well
The book I received have most of the answers circled and notes on the side. This was not mentionin the description
Excellent preparation tool for a very important test.
As a "returning learner" I found Princeton Review products to be invaluable in helping me study for the ACT. Written in plain, conversational language, it is both easy to read and understand.
Math is not my strength, so I was glad to find a study guide that had easy to implement tips and tricks. The two practice tests include answer explanations, which were excellent and had plenty of details to help rework missed problems.
I bought this book, as it was recommended by people who have taken the Kaplan nursing entrance exam. It isn't the only book I purchased to study for this exam, but it is definitely the most boring. The layout is for lack of a better word, weird. I'm on page 32, I hope it gets better. By that I mean more interesting, more informative so I'm prepared for my test.
My daughter has really liked this book. She said that it covers these two subjects a lot better than the ACT book that covers all four subjects. The Princeton Review books are really great books and are geared so nicely for the high school student. They are in a conversation type style and my daughter has really enjoyed that and has not been intimidated or bored. Great book.
